Supplies for the Veteran’s Administration Hospital

Collections for the veteran's hospital are done all year long. You may help our veterans, both men and women, with your donations of toiletry items. Please bring them to the next meeting and inform your council about this program.

Jim, we so very much appreciate what the Knights of Columbus do for our active duty service members and our veterans; you are involved with an amazing service organization. I am going to copy Cathy Williams, our Chief of Recreation Therapy as well as Marcus Rhaney, who coordinates visits in our Community Living Center for their thoughts on how your group can assist. Also, remember on November 11th we are having our annual Veterans Day Parade, and on Saturday, December 17, 2011 we are going to have our patient gift distribution in the auditorium packaging gifts and presenting them to our inpatients so you may want to coordinate something with us for those days as well. Let me know.

Cathy, Marcus if there anything that you can think of for these members that want to serve, would you please coordinate this with James. Thanks very much.
